Dr Justin K Cappadonna

I am an insect ecologist with an interest in:

• insect behaviour,

• conservation in a time of increased agricultural intensification & urbanization, & 

•  the variety of ways that insects shape the the lives of people.

​

My research aims to better understand the life histories of generalist insects found in both natural & agricultural landscapes.

 

I am also passionate about finding ways to minimize insecticide use by refining pest management approaches.

​

When I am not on farmlands, I can often be found leading butterfly surveys and running other community events in natural ecosystems.
